“Serving local municipalities, counties and private clients across South Texas while working with people you care about and who truly support you has been incredibly rewarding.”

Civil site design
Site civil design is a crucial component of every project. Hanson’s team is here to help you make the most of each site by producing safe, functional, logical, easy-to-navigate and cost-conscious designs while creating exterior spaces that are aesthetically appealing and promote sustainable practices. Whether your site is a blank canvas or requires adapting your project to an existing, challenging or distressed condition, we offer pragmatic, comprehensive solutions that are well coordinated with each of the other related disciplines, from concept through final construction and implementation.
Hanson’s civil engineers have worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from parks, municipal projects and buildings to power transmission facilities and solid-waste landfills.
Highlights of our site civil design services include:
- concept analysis, studies and programmatic formulation
- detention and retention storage planning and assessment
- surface and subsurface drainage, and runoff collection and conveyance
- utility planning and design
- site grading and design
- signage and route planning
- street and sidewalk designs
Americans with Disabilities Act
A key element of every public site design is the application of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our team is well trained in ADA regulations and expectations, providing designs that balance compliance with consideration and sensitivity to the needs of people with disabilities as they navigate sites and facilities.
