Three employees mark service anniversaries at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Three employees at Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently celebrated service anniversaries. They are Eugene R. Wilkinson, P.E., S.E., 50 years; Charles A. Hagloch, P.E., 40 years; and James H. Wear, 40 years.
Wilkinson currently serves as the company’s chairman emeritus. He joined Hanson in 1962 as a structural designer. In 1973, he was appointed vice president and assumed responsibility for the structural division at Hanson’s headquarters in Springfield, Ill. In 1979, he was designated executive vice president, and in 1990, he was elected president and chief operating officer. In 1995, he was elected chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
Hagloch is a senior design engineer in the aviation market. He was named a partner at Hanson in 1997. He has been involved in the development, supervision and review of plans and specifications for more than 400 airport improvement projects, including the DeKalb Taylor Airport, DeKalb, Ill.; Carmi Municipal Airport, Carmi, Ill.; and Decatur Airport, Decatur, Ill.
Wear serves as a project manager in the aviation market. He was named a partner at Hanson in 1997. He has extensive experience providing construction and observation services for airport facilities. Under his direction, more than 500 projects at 33 public airports have been completed, including O’Hare Field, Midway Airport and Meigs Field in Chicago.
