Schweizer joins Hanson’s St. Louis metropolitan office
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Jeff Schweizer, E.I., civil intern, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office. His responsibilities will include planning, design, field data collection and construction observation for projects that involve roadways, railroads, bridges, transmission systems, flood control and surveying.
Schweizer previously was an intern at Prairie Engineers of Illinois in Lincoln, Ill., where he was a draftsman and survey crew chief. He completed topographic and boundary field surveys, sanitary and storm sewer analysis and led a two-man crew on a 40-mile survey. He also was an intern at John H. Crawford & Associates in Carterville, Ill., where he performed surveys and created topographic maps.
Schweizer earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and was a member of American Society of Civil Engineers’ student chapter.
