Schrader returns to Hanson as vice president
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Matthew Schrader, PLS, recently rejoined Hanson Professional Services Inc. as a vice president. Working with all of Hanson’s markets from the firm’s St. Louis regional office, he will serve as the company’s new national geospatial technical leader and survey technical discipline group chief.
Schrader has nearly 25 years of experience in the management, technical execution and development of large, complex, national geospatial projects and programs for clients such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Air Force and National Guard Bureau. He previously worked for Hanson from 1992 to 1997 and from 1998 to 1999 as a technician and surveyor at the Springfield, Ill., headquarters and Kansas City, Mo., office. He also was a field engineer for an engineering firm in Highland, Ill., and a vice president and discipline leader for a national design, geospatial and infrastructure management firm in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Schrader has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in Illinois, Kansas and Missouri and is a member of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association, Illinois GIS Association, Kansas Society of Professional Surveyors, Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors and the Society of American Military Engineers.
