SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Rodney Huffman, CET, and Richard Neu, CET, both senior technicians, recently celebrated 45 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.

Huffman serves Hanson’s infrastructure market, and he has worked on numerous transportation and structural engineering projects, building plans, bridge designs and layouts.  His career highlights include the Clark Bridge in Alton, Ill.; the P&L Railroad Bridge in Grand Rivers, Ky.; Rincon Dam in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; and the University of Illinois’ Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill. 

Neu serves Hanson’s energy and industry market.  His experience includes laboratory and field testing of soils, concrete and asphalt for many large projects throughout the Midwest.  Neu also does the soil laboratory testing for Hanson’s railroad projects across the U.S. 

His career highlights include the Duck Creek Power Plant in Canton, Ill.; the Boston Central Artery in Boston; and the Prairie Capital Convention Center, Old State Capitol and the Capital City railroad relocation, all in Springfield.
