Hanson opens office in Miami, hires Easley as vice president
MIAMI — Hanson Professional Services Inc. has opened an office in Miami, increasing the firm’s number of Florida offices to six.
The company has hired Jeff Easley, P.E., vice president, to provide recruitment, business development and project management services for clients in Miami and South Florida. Before joining Hanson, he was a vice president for a national engineering firm in Miami, where he provided similar services. With almost 30 years of experience in project management, transportation planning, traffic engineering and traffic design, he also served as a project manager and associate traffic engineer for other Miami engineering firms.
“We are excited about our expansion efforts in Southeast Florida, and having Jeff Easley join us and lead our efforts shows our commitment to the region,” said Sergio “Satch” Pecori, P.E., Hanson’s president and CEO.
Easley has bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas and in management from the University of Central Arkansas. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and Texas and the state director of the Florida Engineering Society’s Miami Chapter, from which he received the 2010 Engineer of the Year Award. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
Hanson provides a variety of services on projects for municipal, state, federal and private-sector clients in Florida, with other offices in Jacksonville, Tallahassee and West Palm Beach and the Orlando and Sarasota regions. The firm was ranked 22nd in the large-company category on the “Best Companies to Work for in Florida” list by Florida Trend magazine this year.
