Pop celebrates 15 years with Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Dennis Pop, technician, recently celebrated 15 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield, Ill., headquarters.
Pop joined the company in 2000. He prepares structural bridge plans using design and drafting software and conducts surveys, observes construction and serves as survey crew chief on various types of projects.
During his career, he has worked on projects such as the Interstate 55 bridge over Lake Springfield, the MacArthur Boulevard extension in Springfield, the reconstruction of Interstate 74 through downtown Peoria, Ill., the Allerton Park bridge replacement in Monticello, Ill., and the Paducah and Louisville Railroad relocation for the Kentucky Dam lock addition on the Tennessee River in Kentucky. He is providing structural services for Springfield Rail Improvements Project underpasses, including the Carpenter Street underpass that is under construction.
