Flatt celebrates 15 years at Hanson’s headquarters
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Michael Flatt, P.E., S.E., PMP, LEED AP®, a vice president and the chief project management officer at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently celebrated 15 years of service at the firm’s Springfield headquarters.
Flatt, who previously worked for Hanson for 10 years before rejoining the firm in 2006, oversees the company’s project controls, governance, administration functions and team and leads project management training.
Flatt received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in structural and geotechnical engineering in 1995 and 1996, respectively, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Illinois; a structural engineer in Illinois and Alaska; a certified project management professional; and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional (LEED AP®). He is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Project Management Institute.
