Damery earns professional engineer license

ST. LOUIS — Ryan Damery, P.E., GRIT, a civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office, recently earned his professional engineer license in Missouri.

Damery joined Hanson in 2013 and provides geotechnical services, including field logging of exploratory boreholes, analyzing seepage and slope stability, assigning and analyzing lab tests and writing and reviewing geotechnical reports used in foundation design. He has worked on projects such as the new interchange for Battlefield Road at U.S. 65 in Springfield for the Missouri Department of Transportation; drilled pier foundations for an Ameren Corp. transmission line near Champaign, Illinois; and bridge replacements for BNSF Railway Co. in several states, including Missouri. He also has conducted precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide and in Canada as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association.

Damery has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geological engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is a geologist registrant in training in Missouri and a member of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists and the Engineers’ Club of St. Louis.
