Kelahan celebrates 10 years at Hanson’s St. Charles office

ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Greg Kelahan, P.E., IMPE, a ports and harbor engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Charles office, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the company.

Kelahan, who joined Hanson in 2011, provides market and feasibility studies, master planning, environmental permitting, agency coordination, engineering design and construction administration for multimodal transportation projects. He has worked on projects including the Kimmswick riverfront development and barge fleeting sites on the Mississippi River for the Jefferson County Port Authority, a ports economic impact study for the Missouri Department of Transportation, a multimodal port feasibility study for the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce and master planning services for the Kaskaskia Regional Port District in Illinois and the Lewis County Port Authority in Missouri.

Kelahan earned a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering in 2000 from Florida Atlantic University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, a certified inland maritime port executive and a member of the Inland Rivers, Ports and Terminals board of directors.
