Vasher celebrates 10 years with Hanson
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Melissa Vasher, P.E., a project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Louisville office, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the company.
Vasher, who joined Hanson in 2011, provides project management services and has worked on projects including the Bowman Field Airport Area Safety Program to address airspace obstructions, planning and engineering services statewide for the Kentucky Department of Aviation and multiple general aviation airports across the state, the Lexington Regional Aviation System Plan, various projects for the Tri-Cities Airport in Blountville, Tennessee, and a snow removal equipment and maintenance facility at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2001 from the University of Kentucky. She is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Arizona, Tennessee and West Virginia and is a member of the Airport Consultants Council, American Council of Engineering Companies of Kentucky, American Society of Highway Engineers, Kentucky Aviation Association and Kentuckians for Better Transportation.
