Hanson’s program 3rd on list of best engineering internships
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s internship program ranked third on a list of best internships for engineering in the U.S., according to Vault, an employment research and career advice company.
The list was among Vault’s new category of best internships by role. Hanson also stayed within the top 50 on Vault’s list of 100 best internships for a second year, ranking 41st; placed eighth, up one slot compared to last year, on the list of best technology and engineering internship programs; advanced to 19th from last year’s rank of 25th on the list of best internships for compensation and benefits; and was newly ranked on the lists of best internships for quality of assignments and real-life experience at 27th and 30th, respectively.
Hanson’s rankings were based on responses from participants in the company’s summer internships this year; there were 42 college students working for the firm’s offices across the U.S. Vault surveyed more than 100 programs and thousands of interns.
