Four at Hanson’s St. Louis regional office celebrate 20 years
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Four employees at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office recently celebrated 20 years of service with the company. They joined the firm in 2000.
Mary Cole, senior technician, provides computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and civil design and development services. Her experience includes multiple projects for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), Public Water Supply District 2 of St. Charles County in Missouri and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Kansas City and St. Louis districts. She earned an associate degree in applied engineering in 1980 from St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley.
Brad Cunningham, P.E., structural engineer, designs and develops construction plans for bridges, conducts bridge inspections and has experience providing construction inspection and resident engineering services for various infrastructure projects. He has worked on multiple projects as a structural and bridge engineer for MoDOT, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Florida Department of Transportation and the USACE’s St. Louis District. He also conducts precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1998 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Missouri and a member of the Engineers’ Club of St. Louis.
Debra Kropp, proposal coordinator, develops and prepares business proposals, statements of qualifications and presentations for transportation and local government clients. She has contributed to the procurement of many significant projects for Hanson. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing in 1980 from the University of Missouri.
Jimmie Kuehnel, GIS specialist, designs cross-sections; contour, topographic, hydrographic and navigational maps; and survey plats. He has provided CADD and geographic information system (GIS) skills on projects for MoDOT, IDOT, USACE’s St. Louis District and the Illinois Army National Guard. He earned an associate degree in drafting/CADD technology in 1993 from Lewis and Clark Community College. He is a member of the St. Louis GIS Users Group.
