Bastian celebrates 10 years at Hanson’s headquarters
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Jeff Bastian, a commissioning specialist at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the company.
Bastian joined Hanson in 2010 and provides project management and commissioning services, including the testing of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, energy, mechanical and refrigeration systems. He has provided commissioning services for projects including the Illinois Army National Guard’s Combined Service and Maintenance Support and Allied Trades buildings at Camp Lincoln, Springfield Clinic’s 1st – 900 Building and the University of Illinois Springfield’s Student Union, all in Springfield; Eastern Illinois University’s Renewable Energy Center and several campus facilities; Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Science Building; Orlando International Airport’s South Airport Automated People Mover Complex and Intermodal Terminal Facility; and multiple education facilities in North Carolina and Florida.
He served the Illinois Air National Guard’s 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria from 1989–96, attaining the rank of staff sergeant.
