Amador joins Naismith/Hanson’s office in Brownsville, Texas
BROWNSVILLE, Texas — Ariana Amador, civil designer, recently joined Naismith/Hanson’s Brownsville office. She will be responsible for the investigation, design and construction engineering of site and land development, major roadways and municipal systems, including stormwater, wastewater and water systems, storm detention, solid waste and coastal facilities and related facilities.
Amador was an intern for the Texas Department of Transportation, for which she assisted with site inspections, interpretations of design and determining construction progress and completion. She received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she was a research assistant for the civil engineering department and a mentor in the university’s College Assistance Migrant Program.
