Goetz celebrates 25 years at Hanson
Shawn Goetz, P.E., S.E., a vice president and project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently celebrated 25 years of service with the company.
Goetz joined the firm in 1994 and works for the Twin Cities metropolitan office, providing engineering and oversight for industrial, railway and infrastructure projects and helping with business development. He also serves as operations lead for Hanson’s industry market, focusing on operations, financial performance and strategic direction. He has provided project planning, feasibility studies, design services, inspections, plan and document preparation, construction observation and management for numerous bridge, structural, railway, industrial, logistics, port and freight projects across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Goetz received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1994 from Bradley University and a Master of Business Administration in strategic management in 2012 from the University of Kansas. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Minnesota, and a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota, for which he is the chair of the Risk Management Committee, and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, for which he serves as the secretary of Committee 8: Concrete Structures and Foundations.
