Carlos Munoz, EIT, an engineer intern, and Kim Sumrak, P.E., a civil engineer, recently celebrated five years at the Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office. Both joined the firm in 2014.
Munoz provides services for transportation projects, including horizontal and vertical alignment design and 3D modeling. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2014 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Sumrak assists with the firm’s roadway work, including interstates, state highways and local government projects. She received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2007 from the University of Iowa and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Iowa and Kansas. She is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
