Dowd becomes licensed professional engineer
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Corey Dowd, P.E., a civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters, has earned his professional engineer license in Illinois.
Dowd, who joined the firm in 2013, provides roadway, railway and hydrological design; construction inspections; and topographic surveys. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Eastern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers’ Capital Chapter.
