Sutterby joins Hanson’s Kansas City office as railroad designer
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Matthew Sutterby, railroad designer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Kansas City office. He will provide computer-aided design and document review for Class I railroad projects.
Sutterby previously was an intern for Duke Energy in Roxboro, North Carolina, where he supervised contractor work, assisted site engineers and conducted field observations. He also had been an intern for Jimmy R. Lynch and Sons Inc. in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, where he performed roadway stormwater drainage and erosion inspections. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University.
