Kaganich, Nichelson celebrate anniversaries at Hanson’s headquarters
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Two employees at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters recently celebrated service anniversaries with the company.
Anthony Kaganich, CPA, senior accountant, marked 10 years. He joined Hanson in 2009 and manages the firm’s monthly client billing cycle and provides financial analysis support. He received a bachelor’s degree in business in 1992 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE).
Gregory Nichelson, P.E., civil and railroad engineer, celebrated 15 years. He joined the company in 2004 and has provided roadway and railway design and construction plans for a variety of projects, including the Springfield Rail Improvements Project; Alaska Railroad Corp.’s Port MacKenzie and northern rail extensions; BNSF Railway Co.’s intermodal facility in Memphis, Tennessee; and numerous capacity improvement projects, industrial track expansions and yard layout arrangements. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1994 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Florida and Virginia. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association.
