Four celebrate five years at Hanson

Four employees at Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently celebrated five years of service with the company. All joined the firm in 2014.

Drew Dragoo, P.E., a railroad engineer in the Peoria, Illinois, office, provides construction engineering and designs tracks, bridges and other structures for railroad clients, including BNSF Railway Co., Canadian National Railway Co. and Norfolk Southern Corp. He also conducts precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering in 2012 and 2014, respectively, from Bradley University and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Suzanna Keim, P.G., a geologist at Hanson’s Springfield, Illinois, headquarters, has provided geotechnical and site assessment investigations for projects including Ameren Corp.’s Illinois Rivers transmission line project across the state and groundwater assessments and reporting for coal-combustion residual sites for several power stations in Illinois. She received a bachelor’s degree in geology in 2003 and a master’s degree in hydrogeology in 2005 from Illinois State University and is a licensed professional geologist in Illinois, Florida and Texas. She is a member of the National Ground Water Association.

Brandon Tanner, P.E., a civil airport engineer at the Carbondale, Illinois, regional office, provides design and construction observation for airport projects in Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee. He also operates an unmanned aerial vehicle, or drone, for aerial mapping, photography, videography and site and aviation obstruction surveying of projects. He earned an associate degree in pre-engineering in 2012 from Shawnee Community College and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2014 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Kentucky.

Bikram Wadhawan, P.E., PTOE, a senior transportation engineer in the Jacksonville, Florida, office, manages and supports a variety of traffic engineering and transportation planning projects. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1998 from Victoria Jubilee Technological University in Mumbai, India, and a master’s degree in civil engineering in 1999 from Tennessee Technological University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and a certified professional traffic operations engineer.
