Hanson sprints to third in ‘Best Places to Work in Illinois’ category
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. ranked third out of 21 companies in the 
medium-employer category on a list of 69 companies named the best places to work in Illinois.
Hanson’s ranking in the category, which was revealed at an awards ceremony May 9 at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn, is on the “Best Places to Work in Illinois” list managed by Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based Best Companies Group. Best Companies works with local media and publishing partners to establish “Best Places to Work” programs, which recognize businesses that create and maintain workplace excellence. Registered companies respond to employer and employee surveys, and Best Companies analyzes that information to determine a “Best Places to Work” list. Profiles of the top companies and other winners will be published June 24 in a special section of the Daily Herald Business Ledger.
In 2018, Hanson ranked 10th out of 24 companies in the medium-employer category. This is the 14th year for “Best Places to Work in Illinois.” For more information about the list, go to www.bestplacestoworkil.com.
