Lai joins Hanson’s Chicago regional office as civil and railroad engineer
LISLE, Ill. — Phyllis Lai, P.E., LEED® Green Associate™, civil and railroad engineer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office. She will focus on Class I railroad and transportation projects.
Lai has 17 years of civil and railroad engineering experience and has worked on projects for Class I railroads, light rail transit, intermodal facilities and commercial and residential land development design. She most recently was a railroad engineer for an international engineering firm in Chicago.
Lai received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate™.
