Altman joins Hanson Professional Services Inc.
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Stephen Altman, P.E., CFM, water resources engineer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s headquarters in Springfield, Ill., serving the firm’s infrastructure market.
Altman has nearly 19 years of civil and water resources engineering experience, including watershed master planning, floodplain modeling and analysis as well as residential and municipal-site development. He brings to Hanson knowledge of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which is based on his prior experience with FEMA’s Map Modernization and Risk Mapping, Assessment and Planning (RiskMAP) programs.
Altman has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bradley University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Nevada and Texas and a certified floodplain manager in Texas. He is a member of the Texas Floodplain Management Association.
