Worley celebrates 25 years at Hanson

INDIANAPOLIS — Joe Worley, P.E., an assistant vice president and senior project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Indianapolis office, recently celebrated 25 years of service with the firm.

Worley, who joined Hanson in 1993, serves as a regional group leader who supervises engineers and support staff as well as oversees operations and services. He has worked on many aviation-related projects in several states, including several pavement rehabilitations at Indianapolis International Airport, Monroe County Airport’s sinkhole mitigation and runway rehabilitation in Bloomington and pavement condition index surveys at various bases throughout the country for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Worley earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1993 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a licensed professional engineer in eight states, including Indiana. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, Aviation Association of Indiana, Illinois Public Airports Association, Indiana Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers. Early in his career, he served in the 744th Engineer Detachment of the Illinois Army National Guard.
