Bartolomucci, Emmons, Lightfoot celebrate anniversaries at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Three employees recently celebrated service anniversaries at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters.
Thomas Bartolomucci, P.E., S.E., Hanson’s government market principal and a senior vice president, marked 35 years. He joined the firm in 1983 and is responsible for business development, employee mentoring and client satisfaction. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering in 1982 and 1983, respectively, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer in five states, including Illinois; a licensed structural engineer in Illinois; and a licensed civil engineer in California.
David Emmons, resident project representative, and Kevin Lightfoot, P.E., electrical engineer, celebrated 20 years. Both joined Hanson in 1998. Emmons designs highways, inspects pavement, tests construction materials, performs surveying and conducts computer-aided design and drafting (CADD). He received an associate degree in engineering technology and applied science in 1987 from the Morrison Institute of Technology.
Lightfoot has more than 30 years of experience in electrical engineering. He has worked on projects for a variety of aviation facilities, designing airfield lighting and navigational aids, hangars, telecommunications facilities, railroads, pump stations, standby/emergency power, motor control, lightning protection and grounding. He earned an associate degree in science in 1983 from John A. Logan College and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1986 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is a licensed professional engineer in 11 states, including Illinois.
