Kemp celebrates 30 years at Hanson’s Rockford office
ROCKFORD, Ill. — Stu Kemp, P.E., S.E., senior project manager and vice president, recently celebrated 30 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Rockford office.
Kemp, who joined the company in 1988, supervises staff and oversees operations, programs and services at the Rockford office. He also has been a project manager on a variety of civil-engineering projects across Illinois, including bridges, railways and roadways.
Kemp earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering in 1983 and 1985, respectively, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Wisconsin, a licensed structural engineer in Illinois and a member of the American Society of Testing and Materials, Illinois Society of Professional Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
