Hanson promotes Bartolomucci, Canopy, Swafford
Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s board of directors recently elected three employees to new officer positions.
Thomas Bartolomucci, P.E., S.E., Hanson’s government market principal, advanced from vice president to senior vice president. He joined the Springfield, Illinois, headquarters in 1983 and is responsible for business development, employee mentoring and client satisfaction.
Andy Canopy, P.E., PLS, a project manager, advanced from associate partner to assistant vice president. He joined the Peoria, Illinois, office in 2008 and has been involved in a variety of work, including land development; roadway improvements; bridge reconstruction; new buildings; electrical transmission, manufacturing and educational facilities design; stormwater management; and land surveys.
Blake Swafford, P.E., a senior project manager, advanced from assistant vice president to vice president. He joined Hanson’s Orlando, Florida, regional office in 2016 and oversees the aviation staff for planning, engineering and construction management services for airport civil- and facility-related projects in Florida and serves as a project manager for new clients in emerging market locations. He also helps the aviation market principal with developing aviation business in Florida, the southeast U.S. and international markets.
