Fehrenbacher earns professional engineer license

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Joseph Fehrenbacher, P.E., a mechanical engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters, has earned his professional engineer license in Illinois.

Fehrenbacher, who joined the firm in 2013, has provided mechanical design for projects, including the installation of a geothermal system at Camp Lincoln, the Illinois Army National Guard’s headquarters in Springfield; renovations and new facilities for the Ball-Chatham School District in Chatham; and the renovation of the recruitment and retention building for the Illinois Air National Guard’s 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria. He also conducts precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association.

Fehrenbacher received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
