Haughn celebrates 20 years at Hanson’s Orlando regional office
MAITLAND, Fla. — Danny Haughn, EMP, CxA, CBCP, GGP, GPCP, CCP, LEED AP® BD+C, a commissioning specialist and electrical designer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Orlando regional office, recently celebrated 20 years of service at the firm.
Haughn joined Hanson in 1997 and specializes in providing commissioning and electrical design services for buildings, data centers and research facilities. He also has designed and commissioned communications, electrical, lighting and power systems for commercial, educational, health care, industrial and military facilities. He has more than 38 years of combined experience as an engineering designer and commissioning specialist.
Haughn received an associate degree in 1988 from Valencia College, a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology in 2013 from Daytona State College and a Master in Business Administration in 2017 from Stetson University.
He is a certified Energy Management Professional (EMP) through the Energy Management Association (EMA), a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) through the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG), building commissioning professional (CBCP) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), a certified Green Globes Professional (GGP) and Guiding Principles Compliance Professional (GPCP) through the Green Building Initiative™ and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional with a Building Design + Construction (LEED® AP BD+C) specialty through the U.S. Green Building Council. He is a member of the EMA, the AEE and the Building Commissioning Association and is a charter member of the Institute of Energy Managers.
