Chambers celebrates 20 years at Hanson’s Kansas City metropolitan office
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Cara Chambers, senior technician, recently celebrated 20 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Kansas City metropolitan office.
Chambers, who joined Hanson in 1997, has provided computer-aided design and drafting and performed estimating for numerous railroad projects, such as Alaska Railroad Corp.’s northern extension, which includes the Tanana River Bridge near Salcha, Alaska; Union Pacific Railroad’s (UP) Proviso Third Main (B2) project from Elmhurst to Melrose Park in Illinois for the Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) program; an intermodal yard for UP’s Global III facility in Rochelle, Illinois; and a crossover project in Portland, Oregon, for BNSF Railway Co.
