Barnett joins Hanson’s office in Austin, Texas
AUSTIN, Texas — Brian Barnett, P.E., S.E., senior structural engineer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Austin office. He will provide services for municipal, commercial, industrial and power-related projects. In addition, he will work on market development in Texas.
Barnett brings more than 30 years of structural engineering experience to Hanson. He most recently was an engineering supervisor for the Lower Colorado River Authority in Austin. He also was a principal from 1995 to 2001 for Naismith Engineering Inc. in Corpus Christi. Naismith was acquired by Hanson in September 2016.
Barnett received an associate degree in welding from Austin Community College and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and a licensed structural engineer in Arizona.
