Zellers joins Hanson’s Indianapolis office as senior aviation planner
INDIANAPOLIS — Susan Zellers, P.E., AAE, senior aviation planner, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Indianapolis office. She will provide leadership and technical support to the aviation planning staff for projects including site selection, master planning, noise exposure mapping and related aviation projects.
Prior to joining Hanson, she was deputy director of planning and development for the Indianapolis Airport Authority, where she directed grant-funded planning, design and construction projects. She also was co-owner and principal of aviation planning firm Aerofinity Inc. and a senior airport planner and engineer for a consulting engineering firm, both in Indianapolis.
Zellers received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Purdue University. She is a licensed professional engineer in Indiana, an accredited airport executive and an instrument-rated private pilot. She is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, American Society of Civil Engineers and Aviation Association of Indiana.
