Williams celebrates five years with Hanson’s Chicago regional office

OAK BROOK, Ill. — Jeffrey Williams, P.E., CFM, water resources engineer, recently celebrated five years of service with Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office.

Williams, who joined the company in 2010, provides design and plan preparation of surface transportation and watershed modeling projects. Before joining Hanson, he was a civil engineer for several engineering firms in the Chicago area.

His project experience at Hanson includes the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Illinois’ Boone, Kane and McHenry counties; the roadway and bridge rehabilitation project for the Tri-State Tollway in Illinois’ Cook County; and the reconstruction of the Interstate 74 bridge over the Mississippi River from Moline, Ill., to Bettendorf, Iowa.

Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2001 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer and a certified floodplain manager in Illinois. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management.
