Hanson’s Villanueva earns professional engineer license
OAK BROOK, Ill. — Matt Villanueva, P.E., a civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently earned his professional engineer license in Illinois. He serves Hanson’s infrastructure market in the company’s Chicago regional office.
Villanueva joined Hanson in 2010. He has performed design, construction inspection, plan preparation and data collection and analysis for projects including the Interstate 74 reconstruction for the Illinois Department of Transportation in Moline, Ill.; the Interstate 90 widening and reconstruction for the Illinois Tollway in Boone, McHenry and Kane counties in Illinois; and the planned South Suburban Airport in Peotone, Ill.
Villanueva has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. He also is a certified National Precast Concrete Association plant auditor.
