Tognetti joins Hanson in its Tinley Park office
WILL COUNTY, Ill. — Bruce Tognetti recently joined Hanson’s Tinley Park, Ill., office as an energy and commissioning engineer. He has more than 25 years of experience in energy management.
Tognetti’s responsibilities include developing commissioning and energy usage solutions for Hanson’s government clients. Commissioning is a quality focused process which verifies that a building’s systems and subsystems achieve the owner’s project requirements as intended by the owner and designed by the architect and engineer. He also will work with building owners to make certain the mechanical and electrical systems in their buildings are operating in a correct and efficient manner.
Before joining Hanson, Tognetti served as an energy management professional and as a front-line manager for one of Fortune Magazine’s “Global 500” companies. During his career, he has developed numerous cost-saving techniques and created multiple calculation programs that helped his former employers with cost control and data management.
Tognetti received his bachelor’s degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y.
