Todt celebrates 25 years with Hanson

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Karl Todt, CADD administrator, recently celebrated 25 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield, Ill., headquarters.

Todt joined the company in 1989. He provides computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) services for new bridges, bridge rehabilitations and roadways. He also conducts surveying and construction and field observation. Prior to joining the company, he worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation.

During his career, he has been involved in projects including the Capital City Railroad Relocation project in Springfield, which was completed in 1995; the Clark Bridge on the Mississippi River near Alton, Ill.; the Tri-State Tollway’s roadway and bridge widening in Cook County, Illinois; and BNSF Railway Co.’s Willow Springs Intermodal Facility in Hodgkins, Ill.

Todt received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology in 1983 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
