Thompson joins Hanson’s Peoria office
PEORIA, Ill. — Austin Thompson, EIT, engineer intern, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Peoria, Ill., office. He will perform electrical engineering duties and design primarily for transportation and federal projects.
Before joining Hanson, he was an electrical engineer for an international, multidiscipline engineering firm in Phoenix. He was an intern for Kiewit Power Engineers Co. in Kansas City, Mo., where he assisted with bid evaluations and designed the layout of cables for a project. He also was an intern for Midwest Engineering Co. in Camdenton, Mo.
Thompson received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
