Thompson earns professional engineer license
PEORIA, Ill. — Austin Thompson, P.E., an electrical engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Peoria office, recently earned his professional engineer license in Illinois.
Thompson joined Hanson in 2015. He has provided electrical design for projects, including for the bridge replacement and road improvements for Sheridan Road in Peoria; upgrades at the Illinois Army National Guard’s armory in Freeport; wastewater treatment plant upgrades in Macomb; lighting control system upgrades for University of Illinois Springfield; and the East Main Street underpass in Galesburg.
Thompson received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
