Thompson celebrates 15 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
FRANKFORT, Ill. — Mark Thompson, a vice president and senior project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago – Will County office, recently celebrated 15 years of service with the firm.
Prior to joining the company in 2002, Thompson was a principal associate for an international engineering firm in the greater Chicago area. He also was an environmental protection specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard in Washington, D.C., and a physical scientist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Galveston, Texas. At Hanson, he manages land acquisition, relocation assistance, property management and the planning of environmental surveys for the South Suburban Airport project near Monee and operations at Bult Field, a general aviation facility that will be part of that airport.
Thompson received a bachelor’s degree in forestry in 1980 and a master’s degree in water resources in 1982, both from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
