Sturgeon celebrates 25 years at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Ron Sturgeon, computer specialist, recently celebrated 25 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield, Ill., headquarters.
Sturgeon joined Hanson in 1988. As the company’s computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) administrator, he has been involved in a variety of projects, including work for airports; roadways; and educational, industrial and medical buildings. He is responsible for computer workstation and server installation, configuration, and maintenance; and company software installation and configuration. He also has traveled to each Hanson regional office, installing or updating corporate computers and networks.
Sturgeon earned an associate degree in architectural and construction technology in 1987 from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Ill. He is a member of the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.
