Snowden joins Hanson as aviation market principal
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Charles Snowden Jr., AAE, CFM, has joined Hanson Professional Services Inc. as a senior vice president and principal of the firm’s aviation market. Working from the Jacksonville, Fla., office, he will provide senior market leadership and assist in expanding Hanson’s aviation presence in Florida, the Southeast and nationally.
Snowden has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining Hanson, he was the vice president of aviation emerging practices for global engineering firm CH2M HILL in Jacksonville; chief operating officer for the Jacksonville Aviation Authority; planning and development manager for the Palm Beach County Department of Airports in West Palm Beach, Fla.; and airport planner for a national infrastructure-services firm in Miami.
Snowden received a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science and aviation management and a Master of Business Administration, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He also completed the Harvard Senior Management Development Program. He served on the board of directors for the Florida Airports Council, the Florida Safe Airports Council’s Executive Committee and the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Governors. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives and the Airports Council International and is an accredited airport executive.
