Schrenk joins Hanson Professional Services Inc.
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Joel Schrenk, E.I., LEED® AP, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield office. As an engineer intern, he serves Hanson’s energy and industry market.
He currently is assisting with structural design services for the HVAC renovation project at the Illinois State Capitol and mechanical engineering services at Glenwood Middle School and the Muscatine Armed Forces Reserve Center. He also has experience integrating various structural engineering design software with building information modeling, helping streamline the design process and drawing production from concept through construction.
Schrenk previously served as an engineering consultant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he assisted with structural design services for a large hospital, hotel and resort facility, various mixed use structures, and a LEED®-certified office facility.
He has a bachelor’s degree in civil and architectural engineering with an emphasis on structural design from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo.
