Schilling celebrates 15 years at St. Louis regional office
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Kevin Schilling, P.E., civil engineer, recently celebrated 15 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office.
Schilling, who joined the company in 2002, has provided design and construction engineering for projects, including the establishment of barge fleeting sites on the Mississippi River near Herculaneum and riverfront development in Kimmswick for the Jefferson County Port Authority; transmission line foundations and geotechnical engineering across Illinois for Ameren Corp.’s Illinois Rivers Project; retaining walls for the Springfield Rail Improvements Project and the intersection of Woodside and Iron Bridge roads, all in Springfield, Illinois; two railroad overpasses in Galesburg, Illinois; and the reconstruction of Interstate 74 through Moline, Illinois, associated with the Mississippi River bridge replacement in Moline and Bettendorf, Iowa, a project that is under construction. He also has conducted precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association.
Schilling earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2002 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is a registered professional engineer in Missouri, Illinois and Tennessee and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers.
