Bingham celebrates 10 years at Hanson’s Nashville area office
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Joann Bingham, an aviation planner at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Nashville area office, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the firm.
Prior to joining the company in 2006, she worked for an engineering and planning firm headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky, and for an aviation planning firm in Chicago. At Hanson, she has provided services for the development of airport layout plans, airport layout narrative reports, airport master plans and environmental assessments for aviation facilities, including Murfreesboro Municipal Airport and Tullahoma Regional Airport in Tennessee; Capital City Airport in Frankfort; Stanton-Powell County Airport in Stanton, Kentucky; and Rough River State Park Airport in Falls of Rough, Kentucky.
Bingham received a bachelor’s degree in aerospace administration in 1999 and a master’s degree in aerospace in 2002, both from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). From 2003 to 2014, she was an adjunct faculty member at MTSU, where she taught an introduction to aerospace and airport planning and design. She is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives’ Southeast Chapter and the American Planning Association’s Tennessee Chapter.
