Moll marks 30 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Jim Moll, P.E., S.E., recently celebrated 30 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc. Moll, an assistant vice president, primarily serves in Hanson’s infrastructure market. 

Moll’s vast experience includes working on almost all types of civil engineering projects from designing bridges and highways to railroad and wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, he has extensive experience in public involvement initiatives, working as a liaison between design teams and the public.

His career highlights include providing civil and structural engineering for the Lincoln Home restoration project, planning and design for the MacArthur Boulevard extension, and design for the Town Branch sewer rehabilitation. He currently is serving as the project manager for the Springfield Railroad Corridor Study.  

Moll has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering, both from Purdue University. He has served as director of the American Public Works Association’s Illinois chapter, and as a state chairman for the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers, Private Practice Division. He also is active in the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
