McLaughlin marks 10 years of service at Hanson’s Chicago regional office
OAK BROOK, Ill. — Stephen McLaughlin, P.E., civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the company.
McLaughlin joined Hanson in 2003 and serves the aviation market. He prepares National Environmental Policy Act documents, including environmental assessments. He also conducts airport-noise and air-quality analysis, prepares planning documents, design plans, reviews construction documentation and conducts roadway noise modeling and barrier analysis.
He received a bachelor’s degree in 2001 and a master’s degree in 2003, both in agricultural engineering and from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois. He has been a five-year member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago Office Liaison Committee and a member of the Chicago Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago Liaison Committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois. He also is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers.
