Madaus celebrates 25 years at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Edward Madaus, senior technician, recently celebrated 25 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield, Ill., headquarters.
Madaus joined Hanson in 1988 and serves the firm’s power and industry market. He has extensive experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and has generated thousands of drawings and figures for environmental, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical projects. His field assignments have included numerous construction observation projects, industrial hygiene, archaeological investigations and Superfund environmental work. He also has experience in geographic information systems (GIS) for water-resource projects.
Madaus earned an associate degree in mechanical design in 1986 from the Morrison Institute of Technology. He has served as a volunteer with Engineers in the Classroom.
