Lawless marks 15 years at Hanson’s headquarters
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Ryan Lawless, environmental scientist, recently celebrated 15 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield, Ill., headquarters.
Lawless previously worked for the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety and Krueger Engineering and Sciences in Springfield. He joined Hanson in 2000, when the firm acquired Krueger. He provides environmental permitting, remediation and site assessment services for industry, commercial and transportation projects.
His project experience includes the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign site remediation; the Capitol Avenue streetscape design and beautification in Springfield; soil and groundwater services for Ameren and the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Illinois’ Boone, Kane and McHenry counties. He also has been a public assistance coordinator, project officer and environmental specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency during declared disasters in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Illinois.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental health in 1999 from Illinois State University.
