Knoedler awarded Energy Management Professional certification
RALEIGH, N.C. — Robert J. Knoedler, P.E., CEM, CxA, EMP, vice president and principal of Hanson’s commissioning and energy-related services, was a member of the inaugural class of commissioning and energy professionals recently awarded the Energy Management Professional (EMP) certification from the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG).
Acceptance into the program requires Commissioning Authority certification and proof of energy engineering experience. The program operates on four core principles: using commission-based processes; employing a data-driven approach; optimizing performance and efficiency; and maintaining independence with respect to manufacturers, vendors, contractors and other potential conflicts of interest.
